Bio:
Oscar Garcia grew up playing in the Cal South program and Coast Soccer League since the age of 9. He received a lot of his training and skill by the legendary Clint Greenwood and Bob Dow at SASC. While at SASC, Oscar was captain for the 9 years spent on his teams. He played for the Arsenal Soccer Club for 1 year (U19), and concluded his club career in Coast Soccer League. During is club soccer experience he was fortunate to play in the Premier Division LEVEL from U16 to U19, and traveled to compete in Costa Rica, Europe and many USA locations as well.


Oscar attended Bonita High School where he played Varsity all four years. He was captain of the Varsity team for 3 years and made First Team All League all 4 years of high school. He attended and played for Cal State University of San Bernardino from 2003 to 2007. At CSUSB he was a starter all four years on the team. He was awarded First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Far West Region for CCAA.

After CSUSB he was invited by Chivas USA for Pre-Season camp in 2007. During that season he trained and played with the Reserve Team where he made various trips with the team across the country. Today he continues to play in an adult CSL and indoor soccer.

Oscar is also a soccer fan. He is the #1 fan of the professional ARSENAL team! He will watch every match during season(will wake up at 4am or will record the game if  he cant watch live on tv). He enjoys to travel to EUROPE and has watched live soccer matches-ENGLISH PREMIER(England), LA LIGA(SPAIN), and the BUNDESLIGA (Germany). 
 

He enjoys coaching and training kids. Oscar Garcia not only has a lot of experience in the club world, but in soccer in general. At age 26 he posses a lot of skill and experience to guide and assist youth players. His main objective: SKILL AND DEVELOPMENT. His goal is see kids move to the next level as he did; collegiate level.

In coaching the B99 team, he has demonstrated skill and technique. He has begun to teach the team how to play the game of soccer. The team formed in 2008, played U9 and placed 4th in league. In 2009, coach Oscar worked harder with team and with a couple additions and modifications he took the team to another level; Winning 1st place COAST SOCCER LEAGUE and various tournament FINALIST match games. Most important his players have grown in their soccer, and that is the success behind his training.
