Little Reds Pee-Wee League

FC Man United's Little Reds Pee-Wee league is a unique opportunity for younger players to begin to develop their soccer skills in a fun, safe, game oriented environment. It is an eight week program where players train once a week and play games on Sundays. Our Pee-Wee league will help your child improve their motor skills, ball skills and self-confidence using fun-packed, small sided games. Sessions last for 60 minutes with our professional coaches and the emphasis is very firmly on FUN! Our Pee-Wee league is the ideal way for players ages 5 - 8 to enhance the progress they are making playing developmental soccer, and is the natural way for players to begin the transition into our club program. FC Man United is leading the way in player development at all ages and our Pee-Wee league is no different based on our unique age appropriate training curriculum that develops players in a comfortable and age suited environment.

The Details…..

  • FC Man United Professional Trainer for the first 30 minutes of each practice; Parent Coach for the last 30 minutes
  • Practice once a week for one hour and play in Sunday Games; Games are 3v3 format with a maximum of 6 players per team
  • The program is designed to be a “separate gender program”, but from time to time may combine groups together for training purposes
  • PRACTICE DAYS: Tuesday or Thursday
  • PRACTICE TIME: 5:30PM – 6:30PM
  • Individual award at the end of the season
  • Practices Begin: Week of February 20th, 2012
  • GAMES BEGIN: Sunday, March 4th; Season Ends: Sunday, April 8th- Closing ceremonies and awards during final weekend of play.
  • GAMES ARE PLAYED: Sundays
  • All practices and games will be played at Walnut Ranch Park - 20101 Amar Road, Walnut CA 91789

]]> http://www.fcmanunited.com/home/590884.html FC Man United players selected for Olympic Development Program 01/12/2012 01:16 PM http://www.fcmanunited.com/home/590249.html Two FC Man United boys have been selected to participate in the Olympic Development Program in Phoenix.  Rodrigo Gutierrez on left and Luke Flores on right are going to represent FC Man United this weekend in Phoenix for the Southern California ODP 97 and 98 teams.  The US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program, or ODP as it is commonly called, is a national identification and development program for high-level players.  The program identifies and develops youth players throughout the country to represent their state association, region and the United States in soccer competition.

Coach Jess Sandoval and his team traveled to San Juan Capistrano to play the #2 premier team from Nor Cal and left with a 3-0 victory. They returned the next day to play the #1 team from Nor Cal and kept good form with a 3-2 victory, earning a spot in the State Premier Final.

The final proved to be a tough order as they faced the #1 team in the Nation and defending National Champion Fullerton Rangers. Though they fell short of winning the title game, they represented the character of a championship team and played through early nerves to make for an exciting final.
 
Coach Sandoval and his boys have also enjoyed recent success in the Coast Soccer Premier League, securing 2nd place with no accumulated discipline cards, a feat unparalled in todays premiership style gaming.
 
FC Man United is honored to be represented by such a high caliber team that is among the Nations elite in this age group.

Update - FC Man United Summer Speed and Agility Training Sessions have finished.  Starting September 24th FC Man United will start their Fall Technical and Finishing sessions.   Contine to check this website for confirmation of Start Date and times.

We are beginning our Fall Technical and Finishing Sessions on September 24, Friday’s 6:00 PM to 7:00PM at Walnut Ranch Park. (Check Calendar of Events for Cancellation) These sessions will be available every friday to all of our players in every age group.

The fundamental idea behind the training is to provide our players with specifically designed body movements and drills that will allow them to develop the balance, coordination, and technical ability to play at a higher level.

Also it provides the players with a third training day which allows them to better their chance of success at the club level.
