Megan Jauss - GU19

"Megan is a plyer who will do anything you ask of her. She began this season starting as a holding center mid, but when we needed an outside back she filled right in seamlessly. We then lost our center back to an injury and once again she filled that role for us seamlessly. We gave up only 6 goals in all of league finishing 2nd and Megan was a big part of that." -- Coach Joe

Ricky De Rueda - BU15

"Ricky has been an integral part of our success this year. We lost our ODP keeper and center back just a few days before the season started and Ricky sacrificed his position as a field player to step in between the pipes and did an outstanding job. We only gave up 12 goals this year. He never misses training and never complained about his time in goal." -- Coach Jess

Salvador "Chava" Morando - BU12

"Chava is one of our most talented players. But what makes Chava a great player is his work ethic, his positive attitude and his leadership. He is a player that never complains regardles of his assignment, He is always positive with his teammates. Chava is the type of player that every coach wishes for. He has excellent speed, ball control and a tremendous left foot. Chava is 2nd in scoring for our team this season and scored the second goal of our 3 goal effort this weekend. But most importantly Chava is a player we can always count on to give his best effort!" -- Coach Susano

Ethan Bowen - BU10

"FC Man United BU10 played two critical games this past weekend. The first, on Saturday, was to clinch the Coast Soccer Silver Central League Championship. Ethan, came out strong and scored two quick goals that broke the back of the opponent on the way to a 6-2 victory. On Sunday, the team advanced to the round of 16 in League Cup with Ethan scoring the first goal of the game and assisting on another that lead to the 3-0 victory. Ethan, the Team Captain, always lives up to the esteemed title by giving 100% of himself on every play. His tenacity, grit and skill level has proven to be a key component in this BU10 teams success the entire season" -- Coach Danny

November 1-7, 2010

Nick Lira - BU12

"Nick Lira is the B98 White goal keeper. Nick made a number of great saves this weekend, including blocking a PK and several free kicks just outside the 18. We held on to the win thanks to Nick, and secured our place in silver next season." -- Coach Tony

Tommy Tate - BU10

"Tommy has been a consistent force running the midfield on the road to a 11-0 season thus far. Scoring 13 goals and assisting on 22, Tommy has shown an ability to both score and get his teammates involved. This past weekend, the team was victorious in both of their league cup games. Tommy contributed by scoring 3 goals and assisting on 4. An unassuming kid, who’s enjoyment of his own success is always superseded by the success of his teammates and team, continues to learn the game and improve weekly." -- Coach Danny

Rodrigo Gutierrez - BU13

"Rodrigo Gutierrez has been our defensive stall wort this season. He gives our boys a calming presence in the back. As one of our captains, he shows his leadership with the same passion that he plays with and it’s infectious to his teammates. Rodrigo aka "Rich Rod" is also a huge reason why our team has only allowed 9 goals in 11 games. Rodrigo, who is our sweeper, has also helped us win games by scoring 2 goals in league." -- Coach Danny

Madisyn Rodriguez - GU14

"She scored 2 goals this weekend and one was the winning goal. She scored against the Titans on Saturday to solidify our 2-0 win. On Sunday, she scored the winning goal against the Lazers and we ended up winning 2-0 again. Madison just got back this season after being out for 6 months from an injury. She is getting stronger and stronger and has been a good asset for us." -- Coach Isabelle

Bryanna Orellana - GU11

"Bryanna has been a cornerstone of a defensive unit that has only given up 6 goals all season.  She has an endless work rate and was a great leader this weekend in a crucial win." -- Coach Matt

Alex Fragoso - BU12

"Alex is a very talented individual with great speed and a nose for the goal. Alex’s determination has made him an indispensable player at our forward position He leads our team in scoring with 7 goals in 10 games. His goal in the last 5 minutes of our game this week gave FC Man United the Victory and put our team in a good position to maintain the team status in Gold." -- Coach Susano

Makayla Varner - GU19

"Makayla has improved more than any player I have ever coached this season especially over the last 4 weeks. We lost our 2 leading scorers to ankle injuries and she stepped up by creating goal scoring chance after goal scoring chance in their absence. She trains extreamly hard, and plays all out everytime she steps on the field." -- Coach Joe

Erik Romero - BU15

"He has played well and trained hard over this past week. He has drastically helped our team in putting us in a great position to be promoted at the end of the season. More then his dedication, work ethics, talent and physical dominance he has risen above his peers by being a respected Leader on and off the field. He is and stays humble 100% of the time which is something his teammates respect and admire." -- Coach Brent
